STEP 1 Start the Intent to Enroll Process Accept Your Offer of Admission by Submitting Your Intent to Enroll—Due May 1, Log in to your SDSU WebPortal to submit the Intent to Enroll and non-refundable $400 deposit. 1.Send official transcripts: Freshmen: High school transcript including fall 2014 grades. Freshmen and Transfers: Transcripts from all colleges you attended. 2.Send official test scores: Freshmen: SAT Reasoning or ACT electronic scores for all exams taken. Freshmen and Transfers: Electronic reports for Advanced Placement (AP) exams or International Baccalaureate (IB) credits, if applicable. 3.Submit Housing License Agreement and $375 initial payment.

STEP 1 Start the Intent to Enroll Process Final Official Transcripts Your admission is based on self reported data. This information is verified once your official documents are received. Submit initial transcript and test scores by: May 1, 2015 Submit final high school transcript by: July 15, 2015

STEP 2 Fulfill Testing Requirements (Freshmen) English Placement Test (EPT) and Entry-Level Mathematics (ELM) Exam All freshmen with remediation needs must take the EPT and ELM by May 2, But there are ways to meet this requirement. The most common ways to clear English remediation is with a: Score 500 or higher on the critical reading section of the SAT Score 22 or higher on the English section of the ACT The most common ways to clear math remediation is with a: Score 550 or higher on the mathematics section of the SAT Reasoning test or SAT Subject Tests level I or II in mathematics. Score 23 or higher on the mathematics section of the ACT

STEP 3 Financial Aid & Scholarships By March 2 Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) with SDSU's school code of Also complete scholarship applications. By April 1 Submit any additional documents requested by SDSU. Late Spring Check AidLink for your financial aid award notification, and for additional scholarship opportunities. STEP 4 Apply for Housing Housing license agreement and initial payment due May 1—the Intent to Enroll deadline. Freshman Residency Requirement You must live on campus your first year if: You graduate from a high school outside SDSU’s local admission area. You participate in the Honors College. Transfer students are welcome to live on campus as well. Everyone is encouraged to consider our Residential Learning Communities. STEP 6 New Student Orientation Orientation is held in July or August. Make your reservation online beginning on May 14, 2015 Register for classes at orientation. Fees are due a few weeks before your registration date When to pay: For fall: In early June you will receive a notice to go to “My Registration” in the WebPortal for your registration date and fee payment information. After the first semester: You are responsible for checking the WebPortal for this information. Things to remember: If you paid the Intent to Enroll $400 deposit, subtract this amount. Pay parking and student ID card fees with your basic tuition and fees if needed. Pay online using electronic check or credit card, or mail your payment. STEP 7 Immunization Requirements Prove immunizations during your first semester. Student Health Services automatically clears California residents of immunization requirements after SDSU receives final transcripts. You may also receive vaccines at Student Health Services.
