Research methods. Researching information will help you to generate designs for the storage product. This can be carried out in a number of ways. This research could be done using either primary or secondary research methods. What is the difference between primary and secondary research? Primary research is when you find out the information needed. Looking in shops, online shopping, talking to people - questionnaires etc. Many stores like Ikea, Habitat, Pier are good sources of style trends. Secondary research is research somebody else has carried out or found the information that you can then use. Reading other peoples opinion in magazines, books, internet sites etc. Just a little background on research methods
