Dyparentification  A term that is used sometimes in family therapy in a good/bad sense, when the son/daughter is growing and rejects in a positive of negative way his parents control or advice

A son’s rejection  And the younger of them said to his father, ‘Father, give me the portion of goods that falls to me. ’ So he divided to them his livelihood. Lk 15:12

1. Biological Dyparentification  Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 2 “ Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment with promise: 3 “that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth.” Eph 6:1-3

Parents obligation  The righteous man walks in his integrity ; His children are blessed after him. Prov. 20:7

2. Spiritual dyparentification  17 Obey those who rule over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you. Heb 13:17

3. Dyparentifying the Fathers  During the time of Reformation, the Reformers dyparnetifed the Church Fathers  The Church is committed to the ‘Consensus Patrum’
