BIC CTU was founded in May 1991 as the first such centre in the CEEC with the assistance of: Czech government, European Union. Starting in 1992 it was built up as a Phare programme pilot project.

The Centre occupies an area of 2 ha on the west side of Prague: near highway D5 towards Pilsen, about 20 minutes from Prague airport and 20 minutes from the main campus of the university.

Over a period of five years, the company transformed itself from a limited liability company into a joint-stock company.

The growth of Et Netera has been 987 % over the last three years.

Et Netera The Central European Technology Fast 50 is an award program of that targets fast- growing technology firms in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia ( companies).
