Slide 7-31 A. The HSO must coordinate operations and projects with the incident safety officer. The HSO must provide assistance and resources to the ISO as needed.

Slide 7-32 B. The HSO has defined responsibilities as program manager of the safety and health program. These functions include investigations, risk management, training and education, developing or revising procedures, or modifications to clothing, equipment, apparatus, or facilities.
