 Cosmetic animal testing can help find out what chemicals are harmful to the eyes skin and lips.  Animal testing could be helpful finding cures for illnesses such as cancer  Animal research is highly regulated, with laws in place to protect animals from mistreatment.  Some tests can in some cases increase life expectancy in the animals.  Animal testing has also led to advances in science and medicine.  Animal testing has led to almost every medical advancement in the last century

Many animals are neglected or abused during the experiments. The cost of food care and shelter for animal testing is around sixteen billion dollars a year. The tests can be inconclusive if the animals are to stressed during the experiments. Around two thousand nine hundred animals die ever year due to animal testing Computer models are available but some companies refuse to get them. They put animals in painful contraptions
