2010 PARTICIPANT STATISTICAL AREAS PROGRAM (PSAP) 2 Participants to identify and propose changes to the boundaries of tracts, block groups, and CDPs (and CCDs in some states) Regional and local participation so that resulting 2010 PSAP plan reflects local input and meets the needs of a wide range of data users. Participation open to all interested governments, organizations, and individuals.

2010 Participant Statistical Areas Program (PSAP) Key Dates: Spring 2008: PSAP final criteria published in the Federal Register. Winter 2008: Materials distributed to participants Early 2009: Participants complete review and update PSAP boundaries and return materials to the Census Bureau for review. Spring 2009: Participants complete a final verification of PSAP boundaries.

PSAP FOR NEW JERSEY 4 All New Jersey counties participated and submitted changes for the 2010 PSAP.

2010 TRIBAL STATISTICAL AREA PROGRAM (TSAP) 5 The 2010 Tribal Statistical Areas Program (TSAP) is a decennial program of the U.S. Census Bureau. It is part of an ongoing effort to enhance the reporting of meaningful statistical data for American Indian and Alaska Native areas. Through the program, tribes will have the opportunity to identify and delineate geographic statistical areas for which the Census Bureau will tabulate data for the 2010 Census and the ongoing American Community Survey (ACS).

NEW JERSEY TSAP 6 New Jersey qualified for the State Designated Tribal Statistical Areas (SDTSA) portion of TSAP We worked with the New Jersey Department of State, New Jersey Commission on American Indian Affairs and our local tribes to identify tribal areas. Ramapough Mountain Tribe-Passaic and Bergen Lenni-Lenape Indians-Cumberland Rankokus Reservation-No Longer Qualifies
