Quarterly Grading  20% homework  Online (work still shown in notebook)  Paper and pencil  Combination  80% assessments  Online  Paper and Pencil  Combination  Use Power Parent for current grades, Math XL only shows performance for online material

Semester Grades  40% Quarter 1  40% Quarter 2  20% Semester Final Exam  Must have a C or better to continue  Semester Grades are calculated using percentages

High School Credit  Students receive 1 high school credit per semester  Semester grade counts towards GPA and pre-requisite classes  Students will still need to take 4 years of math in HS  If they retake a semester, the grades are averaged (for GPA)

Final Exams  There will be a final exam schedule for the end of semester 1 and semester 2, similar to MHS  Students will have no more than 3 finals scheduled on a day (3, 2, 2)  For semester 1,Finals will be given on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday before winter break
