“If thy presence go not with me” Exodus 33
I. The provision of the Lord is a promise vs 1-3 Phill 4:19: But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
II. The protection of the Lord does not depend on our perfection vs 1-3 Lam 3:22: It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
III. The personal presence of the Lord is conditional and must be pursued vs Php 3:14: I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Php 3:10: That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
IV. The personal presence of God when compared to the world is more precious vs Php 3:7: But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.
V. The passionate pursuit of God results in blessings being poured upon us vs Son 2:14: O my dove, that art in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the stairs, let me see thy countenance, let me hear thy voice; for sweet is thy voice, and thy countenance is comely.
