FUTUREtec Gesellschaft für angewandte Informatik GmbH Bridging the gap between research and industry, Prague © Copyright FUTUREtec GmbH JEP_40017_2005 ’s OBJECTIVES To transfer the existing experiences from EU consortium members and good industrial practices to the University of Montenegro. a new two-level postgraduate programme from Applied Electronics To introduce a new two-level postgraduate programme from Applied Electronics (AE) for different target groups based on Bologna Process. To provide Serbia and Montenegro and Western Balkan electronics and communications industry with graduates of high calibre capable of providing the level of support, which is now essential in both the production/test and the design/development environments. To provide the students and engineering and science graduates with option-specified research knowledge which are necessary for improving a career in AE.- To provide the students and other target groups with non-technical and non-research skills necessary in a modern industrial environment, including: general business and management, engineering project planning and executing, business communication, etc.. FUTUREtec Gesellschaft für angewandte Informatik GmbH Bridging the gap between research and industry, Prague © Copyright FUTUREtec GmbH BACKGROUD OF THE PROJECT (2) The postgraduate programme will be whole time and is designed to operate through four semesters covering two study modules: Module 1: One year Specialisation in AE (Spec in AE) and - Module 1: One year Specialisation in AE (Spec in AE) and - Module 2: One year MSc program in AE (MSc in AE). Specialisation module (Module 1) will include all standard courses, laboratories and projects that are essential for specialisation in AE. It will be taught through seventh and eighth semesters, with load of 60 ECTS. The horizontal output from this module is taken after diploma work, while the vertical one is toward Module 2. MSc program (Module 2) will be based on further Sub-specialisation in three research options: Advanced Electronics (AdE), Industrial Electronics (IE), and Medical Electronics (ME). The duration of the program is two semesters (nine and tenth) and value 60 ECTS. The horizontal output, after MSc thesis is MSc in Applied Electronics with diferent options, while the vertical goes to PhD studies. A structure of the proposed postgraduate programe (SPiAE)
