The Tropical Cyclone Programme is a part of WMOs Applications Programme Department tasked to establish national, regionally and internationally coordinated systems to ensure that the loss of life and damage caused by Tropical Cyclones are reduced to a minimum. How does it work? The Programme is effected on national, regional and international cooperative actions. It covers activities of WMO Members, WMO Regional associations, other International and Regional Bodies and WMO Secretariat. WMOs TROPICAL CYCLONE PROGRAMME
