Business Background Electronic World is a well established Electronic Appliances distribution company. Main office located in Houston, Texas. Established in 2000 August. It’s a chain of 75 branches in USA.

Problem definition To analyze the sales details to find out the reason for sales decrease in last 12 months. To provide an environment where a relatively small amount knowledge of the technical aspects of database technology is required to write and maintain queries and reports.

Business Need The mission of this project is to provide strategic and tactical support to the Marketing-Sales and Finance departments of a company through the analysis of data pertaining to their products and markets Multidimensional data will help higher management to make strategic analysis and take decision to increase sales revenue. This project helps to identify areas of inventory Details, product demand details through creation of a Data Warehouse that will provide a better understanding of its customers and markets
