Hello my name is…….. Communications Major ; LEADERSHIP STUDIES MINOR (film) Passion for creativity My career goals are in the entertainment industry My top 5 strengths are: Adaptability, Developer, Futuristic, Empathy, Woo

Life is like “Production” -Director -Screenwriter -Crew -Location -Editing -Premiering Final Cute -Screenwriter -Director -Crew -Location -Editing -Premiering Final Cut I think of my leadership experience over the past 4 years as being a film maker and creating my own film. There were some rough cuts, unexpected turns and re-writing along the way. The leadership minor has given me the tools to finish. Let me take you through my 4 year production.

Senior Emily Manis

 You might notice this background, how it is a sketch pad much like a script. Well I think of life as a sketch pad.  You can “sketch” what you want and you can try to create this imagine and try to make it perfect  What I have learned as a leadership minor is that my “sketch” isn’t perfect. That whatever may come my way that I did not already sketch I can handle as a leader and can help to leader others.

Final Cut - Premiere 0 Yes this is the final cut 0 Premiere = the first showing / the start of… so this is the start of the new journey the final cut of one production but the premiere of a new production 0 Leadership studies have given me to tools to lead my own production to get my final outcome.

THANK YOU: To the Leadership Department: For showing me my potential and always believing in my ability as a leader and dreamer. You have given me the confidence, strength and skill to handle whatever life might throw my way. As Robert Vincent always told me “put it out there to the universe what you want and let everything fall into place” Life is good, and I am ready. ~Emily L. Manis
