MT SAC ARTICULATON EXAMINATION Students ‘Challenge’ Mt SAC’s course by taking Mt SAC’s examination consisting of 4 parts: 1 part Written Theory – 50 T/F, Multiple Choice 3 parts Hands-On – Word, Excel, and Access Students must pass all 4 parts individually with 70% or more to earn the college units
MT SAC ARTICULATON EXAMINATION The Effect on Computer Systems? Does NOT affect student’s grade in Computer Systems For students who qualify: Participation is strictly VOLUNTARY NO cost to student or parent to take examination
2015 SUMMER SCHOOL RESULTS 22 of Mrs. Karasawa’s summer students took examination 21 students passed all 4 parts 19 earned an ‘A’ letter grade; 2 earned a ‘B’ letter grade Computer Systems’ students extremely successful over the last 9 years of testing Consistently, almost 97% or more students pass the exam and pass with A & B letter grades
