Public Works & Fire Departments Fire Station #39 Rehabilitation Project Station determined to be seismically unsafe in April 2011 Station determined to be eligible for designation as a landmark WLC Architects has started design which will include:  Complete interior renovation  Seismic retrofit  New electrical, mechanical & plumbing systems  Accessibility upgrades Project cost estimated at $2,400,000 3

San Rafael  1600 La Loma  748 Laguna

Public Works & Fire Departments Temporary Fire Station # Glen Summer  Centrally located within Fire District & 5 minute response time to medical calls within district 90 percent of time  Establishes a two-person ambulance crew 24/7 to area where 75% of calls for service are medical  Up to 24 month lease with a number of options after 6 months for flexibility  Structure requires no improvements to accommodate use  Conditional Use Permit will be pursued 7
