Your aim is to write a short presentation on a graphic narrative. Look at A Short History of America by Robert Crumb and then answer the following questions: 1.What story is Crumb telling in this sequence? 2.Would it be possible to write a story to it? What would be lost if it was expressed through words only? 3.Is there a subtext that goes beyond the series of representative images? 4.What happens between the frames? 5.The perspective remains consistent: why do you think this is so? How does this fixed perspective differ from the author’s perspective in a conventional novel?
