Students will demonstrate knowledge of the practices of oral, visual, and written literacy (NCTE). 3. Students will demonstrate knowledge of reading processes (NCTE). 4. Students will demonstrate knowledge of different composing processes (NCTE). 5. Students will demonstrate knowledge of, and uses for, an extensive range of literature (NCTE). 6. Students will demonstrate knowledge of the range and influences of print and non-print media and technology in contemporary culture (NCTE). 7. Students will demonstrate knowledge of research theory and findings in English language arts (NCTE). 8. Students will demonstrate effective computer literacy. 9. Students will adopt and strengthen professional attitudes needed by English language arts teachers (NCTE). 10.
