The author The author of the Harry Potter series is J.K. Rowling. I like J.K. Rowling because she makes so many cliff hangers you can never stop reading. She also makes really tense moments were you CAN NOT put down the book. When I read the first book I had too read the second because she leaves cliff hangers and question at the end of the book like how will the Dursleys treat him now that he knows magic.
