Lesson Plan In Teaching Every teacher who intends to teach something has to prepare an outline of his topic in written form or at his cognitive level that is known as lesson plan. Or a practical outline of a topic to be taught in a period is called lesson plan. Asif Iqbal

The Origin of Lesson Plan (Gestalt psychology) “Herbart propounds” the first approach. He stresses on the content and information in a unit plan. “John Dewy and Kilpatrik” give the 2nd approach. They have emphasized on the experiences of learners in a unit plan rather than information. Asif Iqbal

The use of teaching aids techniques strategies and tactics is pre-determined in the presentation of the content. It maintains the sequence of content presentation and prevents the teachers to deviate from the topics. The effectiveness of a teacher depends on a good lesson plan.
