MISSION STATEMENT

WHO WE ARE We are a nonprofit 501 (C) 3 organization ‘Friends of Marin County School Volunteers’. We are funded by grants, community foundations and private donors.

MCSV HISTORY 1997  40 Adult Volunteers  5 Schools  Served 300 students 2015  250+ Adult Volunteers  60+ Student Volunteers  Serving 5,000+ students /year  45+ Schools in Marin And, we continue to grow…. Our focus continues to be on schools and students with the greatest need

TARGET/PRIORITY SCHOOLS Targeted English Language Learners Students living in poverty Schools that do not have significant parent volunteer support Other Priorities Students of ‘targeted’ population in a non priority school or district Teacher/School Requests Volunteer preference (neighborhood school) Unique need or program
