Wound vac dressing change A wound vac is a type of dressing that uses negative pressure to heal a wound from the inside. This type of dressing is often used with surgical wounds. There are specific steps in performing this dressing

Wound vac dressing change A wound vac dressing change takes approximately 45 minutes to complete. This starts with initially gathering supplies and explaining the procedure to the patient. The end result is a skin assessment, new dressing and review with the patient to report any changes.
