March 26, 2007ACS Chicago 2007 ChemgaPedia Enzyclopedia: Teaching and Learning Organic Chemistry  The object of the project is the creation of a multimedia program providing easy access to e-learning and e-teaching  The project includes 29 areas covering all aspects of chemistry and related sciences  The content of the learning material has to meet the requirements for a bachelor degree in chemistry  The content was developed by 16 academic groups in Germany, Switzerland and Great Britain  Funding for the project was provided between 1999 – 2004 by the German Federal Ministry of Research and Education (BMBF)  Coordination of the project was done by FIZ Chemie Berlin  FIZ Chemie Berlin is now responsible for continuous development of the project.
