Program Results and Closing the Loop

 Been assessing 4 of 11 objectives since Fall 2011  1A: Analytical Skills using Capstone© (MGMT 4347)  2A: Awareness of the Global Environment (4 courses)  3A: Ethical Reasoning (MGMT 3340)  4A: Written Communications (8 UD writing courses)  Goal: Meet or exceed benchmark (3 of 4 semesters)  They all received at least 3 passes.  They all rotated out, and we added 4 new objectives.

 8 discipline-specific objectives (one per major)  Goal: Meet or exceed benchmark (3 of 4 semesters)  6 majors received at least 3 passes.  INSU changing measure to eliminate outside agency.  I&E will assess for the first time this year.

 Been assessing 4 of 7 objectives since Fall 2011  1A: Dynamic Thinking Skills in Global Envt (MBA 6320)  2A: Ethical Reasoning (MBA 6320)  3A: Written Communications (MBA 6308)  3B: Oral Communications (MBA 6308)  Goal: Meet or exceed benchmark (3 of 4 semesters)  All passes for data collected. ▪ 3A achieved 3 passes and was rolled out. ▪ Don’t have enough data yet on the others. Not all classes offered every semester.

 Been assessing 4 of 13 objectives since Fall 2011  1A: Competence in financial accounting(ACCT 6310)  1C: Competence in taxation (ACCT 6309)  2A: Written Communications (ACCT 6310)  3A: Effectively manage information (ACCT 6309)  Goal: Meet or exceed benchmark (3 of 4 semesters)  1A and 2A failed to meet benchmark (writing).  Don’t have enough data yet on the others. ▪ Not all classes offered every semester.
