6A K-12 Student Reading Intervention Requirements Immediate intensive intervention must be provided daily for all students who have been identified with a reading deficiency. Brevard Reading Plan Core Curriculum Initial Instruction 90 Minutes – all students Strategic Interventions Comprehensive & Intensive Interventions Students are proficient on district and state required assessments. Students may have small gaps in their skill or strategy learning that requires targeted re-teaching. Students with a reading deficiency in one or more component of reading.
