Anttila et alii Prague 2004 ‘The objectives of The PROMISE (the PROject Method In School projects through E-learning) project are to offer a structured and tested method, make it more widely used and at the same time combine different uses of the Internet to support the professional development (E-learning) of teachers and the learning outcome of their students...

Technology will be implemented and used according to didactic considerations … The project will demonstrate how on-line courses and mixed approaches material can be used to qualify teachers… The project method will be used as the overall method combined with an ongoing internal evaluation to promote the possibilities of creating contents and framework for E-learning for both teachers and students’….

Anttila et alii Prague 2004 The PROMISE Project Organisation  An initial course for teacher trainers 2002  Online course with the teacher trainers to try the PM and the e- Learning platform (course tutor and organisers as tutors)  Local courses conducted by teacher trainers, course tutor and one of the organisers..  Organisers and tutor to visit and interview the teacher trainers (10 countries represented)  Teachers from these courses try to initiate new transnational projects  Conference 2004 – inputs – recommendations  Editing of course modules and other educational material  Final report and opening of the platform in the spring of 2005
