Committee Charge The Lake Washington School District Nutrition Policy Committee is charged with the development of guidelines and procedures to support and ensure that our students are provided nutritious food and beverage offerings in our schools, while balancing the need for stable vending and student store income as well as stable food service pricing. These guidelines shall included food service a la carte, student store, and vending machine offerings as well as items provided to students by parents, students and teachers.
