Training Merriam-Webster’s Dictionary says it’s “the process by which one is taught so as to make fit, qualified or proficient.” In the secular world, it can occur in a formal class setting, “on-the-job” (OJT) or one-on-one with a mentor. So, how do we train men to be elders?

Foundation Premises Elder = Bishop = Overseer “…If a man desires the position of a bishop, he desires a good work.” (1 Tim. 3:1) Desire + Humility = “trainable” heart Points to consider
