BODY DYSMORPHIC Preoccupation with an imagined defect in appearance. If there is a slight physical anomaly present the person is overly concerned The preoccupation causes distress or impairment in social functioning

CONVERSION Person believes that they have a physical impairment in some way Affects one or more voluntary motor or sensory functions The symptom is not intentionally produced or faked There is no medical explanation for the impairment (caused by injury, substance, etc.)

HYPOCHONDRIA Belief that a one is suffering from a serious disease Belief is based on misinformation of bodily symptoms Belief continues even though evaluated by proper medical personal Impairs a persons ability to function in social, or work places
