RuleML-2008 Devoted to practical distributed rule technologies and rule- based applications Semantic Web, Intelligent Multi-Agent Systems, Event- Driven Architectures and Service-Oriented Computing Applications Collocated with 11 th International Business Rules Forum 2 nd RuleML symposium (highly successful RuleML-2007) Goal to bring together rule system providers, rule standardization efforts and open source rules communities, practitioners and technical experts, developers, users, and researchers.

The RuleML Initiative ( Organized by representatives from academia, industry and government for promotion of the modern and future generations of rule technology, which provides enhanced usability, scalability and performance. Goal: to be a general and open intermediary between various “specialized” rule vendors, applications, industrial and research working groups and standardization efforts.
