UFOs and Aliens Vocabulary Alien – something foreign. Abduct – to kidnap; to take away. UFO – Unidentified Flying Object.

Yeti  “Yeti” is its name in the Himalayas, it is also known as:  Bigfoot (USA)  Sasquatch (Europe)  Old Yellow Top (Canada)  Yowie (Australia)  People have found hair and footprints. Some people have seen it and have taken pictures!

Nessie  Loch Ness Monster is also known as Nessie.  She lives in Scotland in a lake called Loch Ness.  She has a long neck.  People believe she is an ancient dinosaur.

 Do you believe in Big Foot or The Loch Ness monster? Why?
