Patterson Scholarships Each year, The Patterson Family Foundation awards scholarships to students at 22 different colleges and universities around the country. The Patterson Family Foundation funds multiple scholarships for students at the following schools, which are also the alma maters of James and Sue Patterson: Vanderbilt University Manhattan College University of Wisconsin The Patterson Family Foundation also funds James Patterson Teacher Education Scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students that are studying education and are committed to teaching careers. It currently funds 19 colleges in the US.
