Policy 2510 Update The teaching of foreign languages in grades 5 and 6 is encouraged. A foreign language course, in the same foreign language, must be offered for students in grade 7 and grade 8. Policy Update The Foreign Language Content Standards, Objectives (CSOs) are designed to provide guidance for: the development of foreign language curricula the selection of instructional materials the evaluation of students learning and professional development opportunities.
