Online Databases for Academic Libraries Visual Search is a brand new EBSCOhost search method; its tab is located between the Advanced Search and Choose Databases tabs. Note: There is a General Setting, defaulted ON, to allow library administrators to turn off the Visual Search tab. Visual Search is designed to appeal to: –Visual learners –Studentia –Experienced researchers doing exploration –Those seeking a new, fun way to search VISUAL SEARCH

Online Databases for Academic Libraries Search results are organized in an interactive, graphical map. Circles represent topics and squares represent articles. VISUAL SEARCH

Online Databases for Academic Libraries Conduct a search. Click on the Show Filters button. Refine results by indicating which keywords should be in the resulting titles, or by limiting to articles published after a chosen date (using the slide bar), or by limiting results to full text articles only.
