Click on the icon for Destiny Quest on the school computer screen or type in If accessing from home, go to and click on the Destiny link; then click on Madison Middle Schoolwww.vusd.k12.ca.us You must create an account- you need your barcode number on your ID card and a password Click on Exit Quest (you must be logged in to see this option) at the top of the page Click on the HOME tab Find and click on the link for EBSCO Welcome to EBSCO- a reliable source for online information!

Type in the user name and password for our school (hint: look on your bookmark)

Click on the History link

Type “samurai” in the search box

Create an account to save articles for future reference Once you have an account, you can save articles to read later

Click on “add to folder” and this article will be saved in your folder (if you are signed in!)

Now you are ready to read your article and take notes! Use this feature for your bibliography

Be sure to use Cornell-style notes as you read the articles about your subject.

This screen will pop up with citation choices. High schools in Vista use MLA style.

Highlight to copy citation, then paste into your document.
