 General Training is suitable for: secondary education work experience Immigration purposes to Australia, Canada, the UK and New Zealand.  Academic is suitable for: study in the medium of English at a post- secondary level.( College, University)

60 minutes and 2 tasks  Task 1: At least 150 words Suggested time: 20 minutes General training: Write a letter for a given problem requesting information or explaining a situation. Academic: look at a diagram or table, and to present the information in their own words.

 Task 2: at least 250 words Suggested time: 40 minutes a point of view or argument or problem is given. Respond appropriately: explain, analyze, suggest solutions, agree/disagree …

4 criterion areas:  Task Achievement  Coherence and Cohesion,  Lexical Resource and Grammatical Range  Accuracy (Spelling and grammar)

The graph below shows the different modes of transport used to travel to and from work in one European city in 1960, 1980 and Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. Write at least 150 words.

It is inevitable that as technology develops so traditional cultures must be lost. Technology and tradition are incompatible - you cannot have both together. To what extent do you agree or disagree? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

 A range of English accents are used in the recordings.  بهترین رویکرد : تا می توانید از هر دری بشنوید !  سوالات فرمت خاصی دارند. حتی برای یک انگلیسی زبان هم آشنایی قبلی با نوع سوالات این بخش ضروری است.

 60 minutes and 40 questions  Based on 3 reading passages  مساله اصلی کمبود وقت تمرین تندخوانی !  لغات دشوار در متن گولتان نزند ! معمولا سوالی از آنها نیست.  بهترین رویکرد : تا می توانید با زمان گرفتن، متن بخوانید و نمونه آزمون حل کنید.

 زبان مجموعه مهارت است نه دانش.  دائره لغات و گرامر اگرچه خود دانش هستند باید پشتیبان 4 مهارت اصلی زبان باشند و گرنه مستقلا بی ارزشند !  در آزمون های مهارت عمومی زبان همچون آیلتس نه لغت می پرسند نه گرامر !

 یادگیری موثر لغات همراه است با : 1. یادگیری نحوه کاربرد - Collocations/Example 2. استفاده از لغات در یکی از 4 مهارت اصلی

3. دسته بندی موضوعی لغات Topic-Based / Related Words 4. یادگیری نحوه تلفظ 5. احساس و هیجان !

 کلاسهای آیلتس معمولا کوتاه مدت هستند و تکنیکهای پاسخگویی را به شما می گویند نه اینکه مهارت شما را واقعا بالا ببرند.  مهارت آموزی از قبل در کلاسهای ترمیک و...  در صورت آمادگی نسبی در 4 مهارت اصلی از قبل حدود 6 ماه وقت گذاری برای آیلتس کافی است که حداقل یک ماه آن باید بعد از اتمام کلاس آیلتس باشد.  البته علاوه بر این خوبست یک فرصت تکرار هم برای خود بگذارید !

Writing ضروری در صورتی که ساختارها و لغات از پیش تعیین شده در آن معرفی شوند. به علاوه شما متن بنویسید و استاد تصحیح کند. Reading ضروری بدلیل تکنیکهای خاص موجود در پاسخ به سوالات که در کلاس مطرح و تمرین می شود. Listening ضروری نیست، ولی منابع مفید برای آماده شدن را حتما سوال کنید و شخصا روی آنها کار نمایید. Speaking مفید برای یادگیری کلیات آزمون همچنین فرصتی هرچند محدود برای حرف زدن و تصحیح شدن !
