Table Top Exercise Partial Building Collapse

Narrative There is a construction project in process at your facility. A large tractor backed into the corner of the old building and cracked the building support. The building shifted and internal walls are cracking. The building houses the main pharmacy and x- ray department on the first floor. The laundry and housekeeping department is in the basement and the MRI department is on the second floor.

Scenario Event 1 The pharmacy walls are cracked and debris is falling on the medications.

Scenario Event 2 The relocated staff, patients and visitors are gathering in the front lobby.

Scenario Event 3 There are patients scheduled for x-rays in the emergency department.

Scenario Event 4 The damaged storeroom in the basement is the main storage area for housekeeping supplies and equipment.

Scenario Event 5 The x-ray technicians are concerned over the radiological isotope in the x-ray department.
