Click this box to see the map of the town. Each icon in the town is a different game. You can also use the left and right arrow buttons to scroll through games when on the main screen above. Each game has a very short description of how to play. Enjoy!

You have 3 options for who you play against: You can play other students from around the globe, or limit competitors to just those in your class, or play the computer.

When the shop is open you can spend your coins to buy ‘stuff’ for your avatar. The shop is open in the evenings and on weekends.

Here you can track when your friends are online by exchanging your FRIEND IDs which you find when you click on this box. You will not be able to chat with each other, but can play against each other in games. Your FRIEND ID

This box lets you pick the math concepts you will practise. Your teacher sometimes will pre-set these for you so that have you practise a certain concept. This is also where you can see how your are doing using the progress charts. (More details are on the next two slides.

Two categories: 1) Training…where you can practice skills related to a wide range of concepts 2) Tables….where you practice the basic facts for the operation you chose. In the Tables menu, you can see your color coded facts. In the diagram above the green facts show that the student has mastered those facts. (When you first begin all facts will be purple.)

Within the TRAINING category you have two options as to how you select the concepts you want to practice. 1) by level or 2) by topic: After choosing your desired level or topic you can then pick and choose specific concepts by clicking on each, or using the ‘Select All’ option below the list. You can view your progress by clicking on the ‘Progress Chart’ link. As you scroll across the bars the descriptor along the bottom changes: The topics list is just a click away

Sumdog You can go on the Sumdog website 24/7 with the username and password supplied. Your teacher will be checking your progress charts and other teacher reports to see that how well you are doing and how often you are practicing. Have fun!
