Hazardous Occupations Rules and Exceptions Persons under the age of 18 are not allowed to be employed in these occupations unless: They are an apprentice in a New York State approved program They are enrolled in a career and technical education program as a student learner at a BOCES center or CO-OP training program They have completed an approved training program
