Session Overview  Cities are comprised of people, infrastructure and the resources used by the city denizens  Most city agencies can be efficient in their own operation, but often do not work in a co-ordinated manner to improve the overall quality of life in cities  This session will discuss the relevance of data and information in its use to optimally manage the operations of cities

Goals of this panel  To identify the information that needs to be exchanged between the various city agencies to enable the more efficient operation of the city  To provide examples of the various agency activities that need to be integrated and to explain the benefits of their integration  To understand optimal operational design and implementation through analytics and simulation  To lay down the foundations of interagency collaboration and communication for the USC
