Vermont Department of Banking, Insurance, Securities and Health Care Administration Hospital Community Reports BISHCA Commissioner establishes standard format and contents for reports. Hospitals produce annual reports containing: Quality Measures Patient Safety Measures Financial Measures (including pricing) Descriptive information First reports produced in January of Next reports scheduled for June 1, 2006.

Vermont Department of Banking, Insurance, Securities and Health Care Administration 2005 Quality Measures Reliable, valid measures with national benchmarks from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS): Acute Myocardial Infarction (Heart Attack) Heart Failure Community-Acquired Pneumonia Press Ganey patient satisfaction measures, compared to national database.

Vermont Department of Banking, Insurance, Securities and Health Care Administration 2005 Patient Safety Measures Perceptions of safety from Press Ganey patient satisfaction survey (safety and security, identification badges, informed of medications, correct identification prior to surgery).
