GOLD Introduction (1) GOLD is defined as Graduates Of the Last Decade GOLD members are IEEE Full Member or GSM (Graduate Student Member) who have graduated with their first professional degree in the past ten years Student Member (Undergraduate School) Full Member (Young Professional) GSM (Graduate School) Full Member (Young Professional) Member or Senior... (Professional) Graduated not more than 10 years from first professional degree Member or Senior... (Professional)

GOLD Introduction (2) Facilitates the transition from Student members to Higher Grade members Provides Networking, as well as, Professional and Technical development opportunities Benefits of GOLD –More Active Leaders in the section –Retention of Graduating student members –Long term sustainability of the section due to more active members

What year was GOLD Formed in?

2010 (1) Support to send representatives to IEEE-USA Annual Meeting in Nashville Host the GOLD Training as well as the first Regional GOLD Humanitarian Workshop Monthly Teleconferences with the section GOLD Chairs –Increase Interaction between the GOLD Groups within the Region

2010 (2) Ensure GOLD Groups are aware of all resources available to them Help section affinity groups meet their member expectations Aim for more GOLD Groups in the Region Stay updated with GOLD activities around the world
