The Coach Jason Smith has coached Brewster Basketball for 9 years. He has produced many players that have gone to D-1 teams, and remains one of the best coaches in all of New England. The team has made 7 consecutive NEPSAC Class A Tournaments and have finished ranked in the top 10 nationally in each of there seasons. Coach Smiths overall record stands at (.698%)

Anthony Crater Born in Flint Michigan, Anthony provided lightning fast speeds, and unbelievable agility on the court. His passing was amazing, and opponents often had trouble while he was defending. Anthony now attends Ohio State

Mark Lyons From Albany New York, Mark Lyons showed why he was one of the best. He could penetrate almost any defense, and make some of the most ridiculous shots you have ever seen. He now attends Xavier University.

Trey Blue From Illinois, Trey could make a basket from pretty much any where on the court. He was known for his clutch 3point which made him a key factor to Brewster’s offense. He now attends Fordham University.

Kellen Thornton Kellen is also from Illinois, and was a dominate force down low along with Emmanuel. He could get almost any rebound, and would throw down ferocious dunks. He now attends Illinois State.

Emmanuel Negedu Emmanuel was born in Nigeria, and has been at Brewster ever since his freshman year. He has been a dominate player for Brewster, starting since his sophmore year. As one of the best players in the country this past year, Emmanuel decided to sign with the University of Tennessee and hopes to win a national championship with them.

CONCLUSSION The starting five that were mentioned were a key factor to Brewster’s success last year. All the players brought great crowds to the Smith Center, and brought home the first New England championship in Brewster’s history, and made it all the way to the semi finals in nationals.
