 It was discovered in 1789 by martin klaporth, he was German chemist.  Nuclear power plants uses fission.  Nuclear comes form nonrenewable substances.  Every 18 to 24 months the power plant shuts down to make radioactive waste.  1 in 5 households and business in the u.s uses nuclear power energy.  American uses almost 2,000 tons of radioactive waste each year.  More than 70% of Americas emission-free power comes form nuclear energy sources.  Nuclear power is being used in over 30 countries around the world.

 Long construction time, plus higher cost due to complex radiation.  Unknown risk  Waste lasts thousand years.  Target for terrorism
