The Incas are the best civilization in Mesoamerica for three different reasons. In this essay I will explain why it is the best, the amazing system of roads, language and writing, and managing a large empire. The Inca

My first reason why the Inca are the best civilization is their amazing system of roads. This helped for trading goods all along the empire and used for traveling and delivering things. The roads were also helpful because you didn’t have to cross over giants rocky and steep mountains to get somewhere. The Inca also created suspension bridges to cross over rivers. Thick rope cables were anchored at stone towers on either side of a river. Two cables served as rails while three others held a walkway.

The Incas had no written language but had a spoken language called,Quechua, and made it the official language of the empire. To this day still about 10 million people in South America. Even though the Incas had no written language, they kept data on knotted sets of strings called quipus. The Inca had messengers set up in a relay kind of way where there were stations where the runners waited for the message to be brought to them, and when the message got to them they ran to where it was supposed to be delivered to or go to the next station.

I think that one of the greatest achievements of the Inca was managing their giant empire. The Inca empire that spread many miles over western South America. The Inca empire had a capital called Cuzco which was located in the middle of the empire.

Some people say that the Mayans are the best civilization because they developed the concept of zero and had a breakthrough in science, mathematics, and technology, but the Inca still were able to manage a huge empire, build amazing things such as Machu Picchu, rope bridges, and the running and data keeping systems.

In conclusion, the Inca had the greatest achievements out of all the Mesoamerican civilizations. I can now see that the Inca were the best for all their amazing achievements and breakthroughs.
