A Fascinating Mammal By Tyler Dahms and Ryan Ramage

Rabbits are fascinating mammals in our world. What makes rabbits fascinating is because there are about 50 different types of breeds.

Rabbits can eat mostly fruits and vegetables. Rabbits eat cucumbers, small carrots, celery, parsnips, lettuce, peas, tomatoes, apples, pears, and cauliflower. And for a treat they have raspberries or strawberries.

Rabbits have very interesting behaviors. When a rabbit goes to sleep, it will shut its eye and lie on one side with a stretched out leg. When a rabbit is really scared, it will lay down close to the ground and fold its ears back.

Playing with a rabbit. Rabbits like to play hide and seek in flower pots. Rabbits also like to play in drain pipes.

Taking your rabbit to a friend’s house. If you are taking your rabbit to a friends house, you will need to bring all of your rabbit’s things.

How long can rabbits live? Rabbits can live to 8 years old. Some rabbits can live to nine.

There are different types of fur on a rabbit. Rabbits have fur that is 2-3 cm (1 inch) that is normal.

Rabbits are interesting animals. We hope you like our story about rabbits.
