Who We Are The Edna Martin Christian Center (EMCC) is a non-profit human service agency offering comprehensive family strengthening and self-sufficiency programs and services dedicated primarily to the families of the Martindale- Brightwood neighborhood Since 1941, EMCC has helped people reach their full potential in life by guiding them toward understanding their greater purpose and by encouraging them to share their experiences with others in a way that empowers people to break through barriers Our NEW Location is in 37 Place at 2605 E. 25 th Street

Mission The mission of the Edna Martin Christian Center is to bridge cultural, racial, and economic differences in order to support and nurture the people in the community by providing holistic programs that empower, encourage, and engender a vision of hope. Priority Areas: Education Income Community Health

Key Programs and Services Social Services and Community Assistance (Utility & Rent Assistance, Food Pantry) Center for Working Families (Job Training, Financial Coaching) Senior Angels (Fitness, Trips, Games) 21 st CCLC Leadership & Legacy Program (Academic Enrichment at partner schools) Summer Camp (5 Weeks on-site at EMCC) Teen Mentoring (with partner schools) Before Care - 7:00-8:00am and After Care - 5:00pm-6:00pm (on-site at EMCC) Preschool - 8:00am – 5:00pm (on-site at EMCC)

Corporate Partner Who can be a corporate partner? – Any business who believes in the mission of EMCC and wants to share the good news with their employees What does it mean to be a corporate partner? – It means you agree to share information about our programs and services with your employees (on bulletin boards, in the break room, etc..) What are the benefits to the company? – Discounts on EMCC programs (childcare, camp, zumba, pottery, etc) – Access to early registration for services and programs – EMCC will publically acknowledge your company as a corporate partner (listed on our website, Facebook, and acknowledge on twitter)
