 What role does a Resource Team play for Portales High School GRADS?  Identify needs in your program  Who can help meet the needs of my program?

Who should be included in a Resource Team?

 Assist with Enrollment into GRADS program  Contributing members of Advisory Committee  Assist with College and Career readiness › Applying to college › Filling out FAFSA forms online › Scholarships

 Contributing member of Advisory Committee  Available to evaluate students experiencing depression or anxiety.  Will make referrals to appropriate agency when needed.

 Contributing member of Advisory Committee  Makes referrals as needed  Builds a rapport with students and is available if they have any questions about their pregnancy or their babies.

 Career and Technical Education  Support Career Readiness for post secondary High Wage/High Demand Jobs.  CTE teachers each work under different Programs of Study › Human Services Education › Agriculture › Business Services › Culinary Arts

 Every Monday CM will print grades and bring them to class.  Every Monday GRADS students will complete weekly journal report and review grades. If a student is failing a class an action plan will be discussed and tutor will arranged if needed.  CM will attend class daily and will also sit in on one on one conferences with students.

 Build a positive rapport with students.  Schedule Guest Speakers to coincide with topics being taught in the classroom.  Continual collaboration with GRADS teacher.  Participate in GRADS Advisory Committee  Attend Monthly Inter-Agency meeting  Assist in completing all required reports for NMGRADS and PED  Create and send out Monthly Newsletter
