Protein Synthesis Student Animations Copy the next slide if you need to to give you the diagrams needed to explain Transcription and Translation. Then edit each slide in turn to tell the story of Protein Synthesis using the graphics to illustrate your text. The last slide gives a suggested sequence of slide titles
Summary of the seven steps mRNA molecule attaches to the Ribosome The tRNA molecules each attach to their respective amino acids. The tRNA molecule whose anticodon matches the mRNA triplet codon shown on the ribosome attaches to the ribosome. The mRNA moves across on the ribosome and the next matching tRNA attaches. A peptide bond is formed between the two amino acids. The mRNA moves across again, the first tRNA molecule is released and a third tRNA attaches to the ribosome. The process continues until a polypeptide of 5 amino acids is formed. The next two slides give an example of how to begin.
