In addition, the way that the artist depicted Jesus of being the most important figure really captures my eye. I chose the painting, Viva la Vida because it is of watermelons. I am a fan of watermelons because they remind me of the summer months, which is my favorite time of the year. Also the painting almost looks like a picture because of the oils that Frida Kahlo used to paint with. Overall, Viva la Vida is a great, colorful painting. WHY I CHOSE THIS PAINTING
