New Report Formats This module will explain the new report formats for the 353 and758.

Reports in new format 353 – Number of Services by Cost Center by Billing Code 758 – Radiology/Pathology/Lab Services by Cost Center by Billing Code 439 – Positive Pregnancy log – coming soon.

Why the new format? The 353 & 758 are by payor code. With all the new Medicaid payor codes, there is not enough room on a piece of paper.

How are they named in E-reports Site-0500_Rpt-0353_Clinic_ Site-0500_Rpt-0353_County_ Site-0500_Rpt-0353_District_ Site-0500_Rpt-0758_SupClinic_ Site-0500_Rpt-0758_SupCounty_ Site-0500_Rpt-0758_SupDistrict_

How can I get it printed???? Was not created to be printed. Everyone wanted it in a spreadsheet. You should work it electronically. But if you have to have it printed the next slides will show you some options for a more printer friendly report. These are not the only ways to do it. If you have a method that works, keep doing it your way.

Excel Spreadsheet - raw

Cells with ##### - how to fix.

Click on the corner arrow

That will highlight everything

Adjust the run date column

That will adjust all fields to the same size

Eliminate any columns you don’t need

Click on the column letter and that will highlight that column

Right click on the column and a menu will pop up.

Click on Delete

And the column will go away

Other columns I will delete From Date Thru Date

Now we can re-size the columns

Move mouse to line between columns. It will change to the shape seen below.

Slide to left or right to get the column to the size you need.

Now, the HID, Loc, and Site are adjusted.

What can we do with columns E,F, and G?

You can size the column down to just show the number. See column E.

Or you can reduce the font.

Highlight the column you want to change.

Click the drop down for the font size and select the value.

I will change my font to 8

Once the font is change, you can reduce the column width.

Some fields can be ‘centered’ and then reduced.

Click on the column heading. In this case ‘H’. This will highlight the column.

Then click the center icon.

Do the same for column I. Results shown below.

Now you can reduce the size of the column.

That will reduce the size more.

But how do we get all these payors to print??????

Thousands of options I just want to see the Medicaid payors

Just Medicaid payors

Highlight all the columns

Right click somewhere in the highlighted area. A menu will pop up.

Click Copy

Then at the bottom of the page, click the circled area.

This will give you a blank spreadsheet.

Right click in the first cell. A menu will pop up.

Click on the paste icon

That will paste the entire spreadsheet on another tab. You have an exact copy.

Now delete the non Medicaid columns.

Now we have just Medicaid

How do we print?
